Capabilities
Siltron custom-molding capabilities encompass three primary processes – compression, transfer and injection molding serving the appliance, automotive, medical & electronics industries. We select from among these methods based on a number of key factors, including: the size and shape of the part, hardness, flow and cost of the material and the anticipated number of parts to be produced.Over-molding onto metals, fabrics and plastic are all within our capabilities.In-house secondary finishing such as post-curing, de-ionizing, clean room DI wash and packaging satisfies special requirements.
We exclusively use synthetic material for the manufacture of our elastomeric components. Our raw mat’l are purchased from companies such as Shinetsu, Toshiba-GE, Shell, JSR, Nippon Zeon, Wacker, Dupont, Nusil etc.
We In addition to rubber molding, we also die cut parts to our customer specifications using automated die cutting systems for kiss cut adhesive backed gaskets and cushioning pads to close tolerances. We also provide lamination of a broad variety of pressure sensitive adhesives to rubber.
