Siltron custom-molding capabilities encompass three primary processes - compression, transfer and injection molding serving the appliance, automotive, medical & electronics industries. We select from among these methods based on a number of key factors, including:- the size and shape of the part, hardness, flow and cost of the material and the anticipated number of parts to be produced. Over-molding onto metals, fabrics and plastic are all within our capabilities. In-house secondary processes such as post-curing, printing, laser etch, spray coating, UV/PU/Soft Touch coating, etc satisfies special requirements. In addition to rubber/plastic molding, we also die cut parts to our customer's specifications using automated die cutting systems for Kiss cut adhesive backed gaskets and cushioning pads to close tolerances.
